GEA Product - Introductory Offer
An “Introductory Offer” will apply initially only to firm orders for GEA at Ebbsfleet, but will be applicable at subsequent UK New Build Sites as notified from time to time at which Openreach decides to deploy Fibre To the Premises (FTTP) infrastructure. New Build Sites are those areas where there is no existing communications infrastructure and so new ducting and trenching is needed so that apparatus can be deployed.
The Introductory Offer is to apply from the date of launch of GEA and is applicable to the assured and non-assured product variants:
• The first 10,000 new GEA connections to be zero-priced (up to a maximum of 4,000 for any single CP GEA customer of Openreach) for connections made until 31 March 2010;
• Zero rental prices for all GEA product variants for all CPs until 31 March 2010.
The Introductory offer does not apply to the Handover Port Connectivity, which will be chargeable at the rate shown above.
Introductory Offer terms and conditions
The Introductory Offer will be applicable to new provisions for the GEA Product from date of launch of GEA to 31 March 2010, on a first-come, first-served basis
A single CP (GEA Openreach customer) will only be entitled to free connection in respect of a maximum of the first 4,000 new provisions out of the total of 10,000 new provisions available under the Introductory Offer, irrespective of whether that CP purchases the product for its own consumption or intends to resell the product to other CPs.
The Introductory Offer will be extended to include other New Build Sites in the UK to which Openreach decides are suitable for FTTP to be deployed (which together with Ebbsfleet, shall be known as “Offer Locations”).  The Introductory Offer will be available in respect of new Offer Locations from the date of inclusion of the relevant Offer Location for the first 10,000 orders across all Offer Locations on a first come first served basis.  The Introductory Offer will be available in respect of those Offer Locations from the date of inclusion of the relevant Offer Location until the Introductory Offer expiry date of 31 March 2010.
Disclosure of Offer Locations in addition to Ebbsfleet to be included in the Introductory Offer will be notified as and when launch plans are finalised.
The Introductory Offer and the deployment of New Build FTTP generally, are to remain entirely within the discretion of Openreach on the basis of any relevant regulatory, legal, technical, financial or other considerations.  Nothing in relation to this Introductory Offer should be taken as a warranty or assurance that New Build FTTP will be deployed in a particular location, or at all.   Openreach reserves the right to withdraw or limit the scope of this Introductory Offer at any time.
The Introductory Offer is subject to the terms and conditions of service.  In the event of any inconsistency between those terms and conditions of service and the terms and conditions of this Introductory Offer, the terms and conditions of service will prevail.
